The only RV skirting solution designed for Airstream®

Airstream RV Skirting

Though AirSkirts® Inflatable RV Skirts work for any travel trailer, fifth wheel, or motorcoach, they are the only product originally conceived of and designed specifically for Airstream travel trailers. Designed by a full time RVer and Airstream owner, AirSkirts fit Airstreams like a glove and offer a similar aesthetic, making them both effective and pleasant to look at.

AirSkirts work for any Airstream

Whether you have a Flying Cloud, International, Land Yacht, Basecamp (X), Caravel, Classic, Globetrotter, Interstate, or any of the other multitude of models Airstream has manufactured over the years, AirSkirts will help protect your Airstream year round. All Airstream models require our standard clearance kits – just select the kit that fits your Airstream’s length and we’ll do the rest.

Use and protect your Airstream year-round

Despite Airstream travel trailers not being known for four-season use, it’s entirely possible to use your Airstream year-round in cold climates. Now, with AirSkirts, you can extend your camping season or set yourself up for full time living in any climate. RV skirts are a must for any RV in freezing temperatures, but Airstream travel trailers and coaches are particularly vulnerable to freezing given the (relatively) small amount of insulation used in their production. AirSkirts do such a good job at insulating and protecting your RV that the lack of insulation in your Airstream floor actually works to your advantage – heat dissipating through the floor is retained by AirSkirts, creating a warm cushion of air under your rig that keeps your water running and keeps you comfortable. Even better – AirSkirts work year round, saving energy and maintaining your comfort in warmer months by conserving air conditioner energy use.

Damage to your Airstream from frozen pipes is very costly

Though damage to any RV from freezing pipes is expensive and disruptive to your life, damage to Airstreams is particularly costly – Airstream repair is more expensive than average, harder to find, and requires booking far in advance. When considering the cost of damage from frozen pipes or a flood, also consider how long you will be displaced from your Airstream. It’s also worth noting that most insurance companies won’t cover damage due to frozen pipes.

Recommended accessories for your Airstream

AirSkirts Dual Axle Tire Cover

Cover both of your dual-axle tires at once with our AirSkirts tire covers. These covers surround both of your tires and stay in place by means of an elastic backing.

AirSkirts Tire Wedges Large

For trailers with 2-3 axles, tire wedges provide added insulation and protection by inflating snugly between your tires. Though not mandatory, tire wedges add additional insulation between your dual-axle tires and complement our tire covers.

Airlight RV Skylight Insulator

Available in Airstream specific sizes, our AirLight skylight insulator allows you to prevent energy from whisking away while still allowing the sun to shine through. Your skylight shade will still close perfectly.

RV Skirt Stair Pillow

Airstream travel trailers manufactured prior to 2017 will require our stair pillow which fills the gap left under your black, welded stair. Note: Classic model trailers do not require stair pillows for any year model.
