AirSeal™ Expanding Foam Packets
Seal the weird gaps. Stop the drafts. Stay warmer.
Your RV underside is basically a wind tunnel full of awkward shapes: drain pipes, uneven bays, odd corners, and gaps that don’t play nice with straight-line solutions. AirSeal™ Expanding Foam Packets are a simple way to close those problem areas—especially the ones you can’t easily reach or neatly cover—so your AirSkirts setup performs at its best.
These packets contain chemically activated expanding foam that expands to fill voids and irregular spaces, creating a snug barrier where cold air loves to sneak through.
Why you’ll love them
-
Fills gaps traditional materials can’t
Expands into irregular spaces under the RV—perfect for “how do I even seal that?” areas.
-
Excellent around drain pipes and protrusions
Ideal for sealing over/around drain pipes, plumbing, supports, and other obstacles.
-
Reduces drafts and cold-air intrusion
Helps tighten your overall envelope so your setup holds warm air more effectively.
-
Works in hard-to-reach spots
Great for voids and recesses where cutting, taping, or fastening is annoying or impossible.
-
Useful beyond the undercarriage
Handy for drafty interior RV areas too—anywhere you want to reduce air movement and improve comfort.
-
Cleaner than “spray foam chaos”
Controlled expansion without the overspray mess and nozzle drama.
Best use cases
-
Gaps above/around drain pipes
-
Irregular shaped areas under the RV (odd voids, corners, uneven bays)
-
Trouble spots where wind finds a way in despite a solid AirSkirts setup
-
Drafty interior zones: small voids, utility penetrations, or “cold corner” areas
Bottom line: AirSeal packets help you get a tighter seal, fewer drafts, and better cold-weather performance—especially in the odd little places that matter way more than they should.

FAQs
What makes AirSkirts different from other RV skirts?
Traditionally, RVers skirt their RVs in one of two ways:
1. A snap-on, custom-made vinyl or canvas skirt. This method is costly, involves drilling into the RV, and requires careful setup and staking. These skirts typically have one layer, while AirSkirts feature two layers of 0.6mm PVC and trapped air.
2. A DIY approach using insulation boards. Though cheaper, it is time-consuming, needs to be redone each season or move, and offers less insulation than AirSkirts.
So, what makes AirSkirts better than these traditional options?
– More affordable than custom drape skirts.
– Provides superior insulation and energy savings.
– More attractive than DIY Styrofoam skirts, with some campgrounds even allowing them year-round.
– Cost-effective over time, saving on labor and adjustments compared to DIY solutions.
Do AirSkirts puncture easily?
AirSkirts are very difficult to puncture. They’re made of 0.6mm PVC tarpaulin – the same material many inflatable watercraft are made of. If this material can handle riding down a rocky stream, it can certainly withstand sitting under your RV!
